Trigance is a beautiful medieval village surrounded by ramparts, typically Provencal. It shelters large towers, vestiges of its castle of the XIth century. While walking through the charming streets of the village, you will discover the 15th century parish church. The Castellane family, a lordly family, ruled the country until 1262, before the inhabitants of the village were grouped around the castle, until the French Revolution, under the authority of various lords: Fouquet III de Pontevès, adviser to the Count of Provence, Jean I de Raimondis, known as le Gros, the Demandolx and Valbelle families and Antoine Henri de Majastres.
