An atypical village, built as a snail's shell around a rocky outcrop in which the pink marble was extracted (typical of Guillestrois), a geological witness on Briançonnaise Island. Stroll through the streets and alleys, you will discover many stones, doors and sculpted capitals. His church bell is unique. Saint-Crépin is also composed of 22 hamlets (19 inhabited) located on both sides of the Durance. The paternal ancestors of Frédéric Chopin come from the «Chapins». In addition, the village has an aerodrome (with a mooring launcher) from which sailing enthusiasts from all over the world are flying in mountain flights. Starting base for the kayakers, Saint-Crépin also has its "walls" of climbing. Finally, Saint-Crépin enjoys a world renown through its forest of thurifères juniper trees, a unique relic forest in Europe.
