Badalucco is a small charming village located in the hinterland of Taggia in the valley of Argentina on the banks of the eponymous river just 8 km from Sanremo. It is a region renowned for the production of olive oil: There are also old presses and mills. The village has an air museum atmosphere! We love its old walls decorated with ceramic works placed on the apparent stones of medieval houses. Walking enthusiasts will be filled by two courses: The first one to the west is a mule road that takes you to 1 h 30 at the top of Mont Carmo, where the sanctuary of the Madonna des Neiges lies. Magnificent panorama to admire one of them, while the second to the east on Mount Faudo (2 h 30) will bring you up to a thousand meters of altitude: We then reach Tana Bertrand, a cave cave. Note that the village is known as the "Stockfisch" fair organised every year in September: almost five hundred kilos are cooked and distributed.
