This village at an altitude of 1132 m above sea level on an impressive cliff overlooking the river Vionène is a nature lover's paradise. The flora in the area is abundant. Hare, bearded vultures, wild boar, roe deer, marmots and of course chamois can easily be seen. In the village, the three superb preserved barns bear witness to the agropastoral architecture while the red stone houses with shingled or purple lauze roofs date for the most part from the 17th and 18th centuries. A visit to the famous Marcel Kroenlein arboretum, which covers 6 hectares, is a must.
