Along the lake created by the dam of l'Escale, not far from Sisteron and Château-Arnoux, lies the village of Volonne. Nearby there is a small nautical base with electric boat, canoe and paddle rental, which allows you to go for walks or fishing on the lake. The marked out discovery path of the Tour du Lac crosses the campsite, this one adjoining the big ornithological reserve of Haute Provence. For those who like to party, the party continues in the evening in the soundproofed discotheque of the campsite. The region is also very popular with cycling and hiking enthusiasts, for a sporting holiday.
