Ganagobie is an essential passage… since the time of the times. Most certainly since prehistoric times, there are traces of Roman times. The village is half-height between the Durance and the Plateau plateau and surrounded by an exceptional forest. The mosaic at the foot of the altar is a unique work in France. Carried out by Pierre Trubert between 1135 and 1173, it covers 72 m 2.
