Bouchemaine, a pretty village on the banks of the Loire, is about ten kilometres from Angers. Joggers and cyclists will push on along the Maine River, taking the pleasant path bordering the Maine, starting from the Balzac Park. The path allows you to reach the mouth of the Angevin river towards the Loire. And it is precisely this mouth that gave its name to the town: Bouchemaine. The commune is part of the perimeter of the Val de Loire listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site as a living cultural landscape. It has two marked hiking trails and is an integral part of the circuit of the Loire by bike. A sporting pleasure.
