Two feudal, remnants of templar buildings, menhir, edges tiles, as many milestones of the glorious and rich old town of Saint-Herblon. The human presence is very old. A city even existed in the large Beaverbrook marsh, in this pristine valley of the river, in the middle Neolithic (4500 to 2500 BC), covered today by nearly 7 m of sediments which accompanied the river level rise. The Hamlet is located on a hill which, from the marshes of Foot Bercy, rises to 82 m in the "Moulin du Bourg". Saint-Herblon will have counted up to 15 mills. A diversified undulating area, the wetlands of a remarkable Faunistique and Floristic (Junk Marsh and Marais Marsh), an edge of Loire kept wild, is what the landscape of the municipality offers on its 3 690 hectares.
