Located only 3 kilometres from the sea, this small village was born in 1203 by the signing of a charter at Hardelot Castle dating from the 9th century. This castle was replaced in the 12th century by another built by the Counts of Boulogne, which is now the main interest of the place. The surroundings of Condette offer beautiful walks, especially to discover the Regional Nature Reserve of the Marais de Condette (Château d'Hardelot, Lac des Miroirs, Etang de la Claire Eau) located between two wooded massifs.
