This charming village overlooks Marmande and is on the road that will lead you to Duras. Go and visit the church, you will discover a magnificent frame. Viollet-le-Duc, fascinated, drew it and used it to illustrate his page dedicated to the framework in his dictionary of French architecture. Dating from the 12th century, it is the oldest monument in the town. Its history is linked to that of the seigniorial castle which was demolished in the 1930's, under general indifference, and of which there are almost no traces left. The church has been listed in the supplementary inventory of historical monuments since 1958.
