Travel Guide Leyritz-Moncassin

Situated on one of the highest points of the department, the village offers a breathtaking view! It is impossible to pass through Leyritz-Moncassin without going to see its castle which stands at the entrance to the village. It is a magnificent building built on five different levels with a remarkable interior decoration thanks to the owners, the Delmottes who are independent winegrowers. In addition to the castle and the vineyard, you can also admire the church of Notre-Dame-des-Prés and Lussac. As you wander around, you may come across some funny vine shoot characters, worthy of a Tim Burton film: these are the plant sculptures by L. Deymier.
