Less than 100 inhabitants for this village located at an altitude of 330 m. In the 19th century, three tile factories were devoted to the manufacture of floor tiles, bricks and tiles. A chimney and a brick shed from the last tile factory that operated in the 20th century are still visible. From 1920 to 1960, hundreds of employees, mostly from the village or the surrounding area, were employed there. There are two quarried soil deposits in the municipality on either side of the tile factory. The earth was transported by a small wagon that passed over the road. The tile factory exploited about forty hectares of woodland for the operation of its furnace. The village still boasts old residences combining raw earth, terracotta, pebble, sand, gravel, wood, straw, horsehair, corn stalks, lime...
