Nestled between two hillsides, Vic-en-Bigorre, with its preserved nature and architecture, is a land of history with a flamboyant past. In the Middle Ages, it developed thanks to agriculture. The private mansions bear witness to the economic wealth and the Romanesque church of Saint-Martin contains some real jewels. The Adour river has shaped its particular situation and has given it the pebbles that can be found in most of the buildings. If the town hall is one of the flagship buildings of the heritage, the market hall of Jean-Jacques Latour of 1862, is the central point of the town and hosts Saturday mornings one of the most dynamic markets of the department
