Blaymont is located on the road linking Agen to Cahors and north of Beauville. It has Romanesque churches: Saint-Victor, Sainte-Foy (a 12th century sanctuary that was recently restored) and Notre-Dame de Blaymont, with its square bell tower, its ogival chapels and its historiated capitals, which are open during the day. In front of the church, the valley is magnificent, offering a superb view of Beauville, this village which mixes greenery and heritage is a site where calm and charm reign. The anecdote to remember for this village, which will make dentists smile, is that Saint Apolline was venerated: it was believed that she had the ability to relieve toothache.
