Built on the slopes of Carmes and Espeyrières, the village benefits from a Mediterranean micro-climate allowing the cultivation of the vine, which was for a long time its main resource. A stroll through the streets of the village reveals a remarkable architectural heritage: the sculpted facades of the Renaissance street, the wash house fed by a small stream that cascades into the Tarn, the clock tower, the turreted houses, the mullioned windows. The church has a superb high altar with beautiful marble columns. Let's not forget to mention the lake that stretches out at the foot of the village, and which is sunken between the sides of the mountain
