This village belonged to the counts of Toulouse has, over time, changed shore. In the th century, a castle occupied the right bank of the river. A bridge of the th century links this old site to the current village on the left bank. It still has a small square castle with four échauguettes, smaller than the primitive building and probably built at the end of the th century. The church dates from the th, but has retained a keystone of the old building, representing a Virgin to the Child.
