The church was given, in 1079 to the abbey of Conques by Viscount Hugues of Millau, then it was attached to La Chaise-Dieu. On the other hand, the current parish church dates back to 1560. It has a magnificent steeple and a th-century golden wooden altarpiece. In 1789, the village made the revolutionary resistance, under the influence of chouans established in the vicinity.
