Hoffen is a very pretty village, with one of the most beautiful groups of half-timbered houses in northern Alsace. The former town hall is remarkable, with its porch supported by three wooden columns, which once housed the fire pumps. A very beautiful secular lime tree is still used as a palaver tree by young people. One of the four wheat mills in the commune, whose ban is crossed by 3 rivers, is still in operation. Next door, the Leiterswiller church, listed as a Historic Monument, is worth a visit.
