As in Merkwiller-Pechelbronn, a thermal spring rich in sodium chloride and calcium, gushing out at 44°C, was discovered by chance during oil drilling in 1904. Today, two other springs at 38.9°C and 41.9°C supply the spa, which treats patients suffering from fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, inflammatory rheumatism and the after-effects of osteoarticular trauma. Wellness cures and treatments are also available. Further information on stays is available from the town hall, by telephone or on the commune's website.
