Caramany ou le Grand Rocher is a small commune (150 inhabitants) located exactly in the centre of the Fenouillèdes. Caramany is famous for its eponymous lake and its many activities (hiking, fishing, canoeing...), its wines with the appellation Côtes du Roussillon Villages Caramany but especially for its position on a rocky spur overlooking the lake: the lake like a mirror in its hilly setting where the vines cling to the lake, with the famous Pic de Bugarach in the distance. We love Caramany for its picturesque and authentic charm. Life here is rural and centred around wine. Small village, but very lively and dynamic in the summer season
