Dressed in white between terraces of olive trees, it has long been a village isolated from the rest of Catalonia by the surrounding mountains. A peculiarity that made it accessible only by boat for centuries. Today, the small port still attracts artists, painters or writers, even if the constructions of the last decades have slightly attenuated its cubist profile. Its atmosphere is reminiscent of Saint-Martin-en-Ré, but with the added bonus of the Mediterranean sun. Maybe it's due to the feeling of always being in an island... On the downside, tourists flock here, especially in summer. It is therefore preferable to visit it out of season and out of the weekend, ideally.
