This village, perched on the southern flank of the Aubrac mountains, forms the transition between the volcanic highlands and the Lot valley. The linden trees(teils) are still there, planted in an avenue at the entrance to the village. The 19th-century church is a curious sight, with its imposing arcaded bell tower in a mixture of styles, and its interior colored green and purple. At Malbousquet, 5 km away, you'll find these curious rock excavations of undetermined date, known as Jewish tombs. To the west, on Montjézieux (Mount of the Jews) stands the perfectly restored Château de Jurquet. It overlooks the Lot valley on a rocky spur, but is not open to the public.
