Gateway to the Aude department, the village is located in the south of the Minervois, near the Canal du Midi. Renowned for its wines, the village is home to the Pouzols et Mailhac cellar, a cooperative classified as "High Environmental Value" (HVE) which brings together a hundred winegrowers and 650 hectares of vines. Before investing in a few bottles, consider visiting the Romanesque church of Saint-Saturnin, classified as a historical monument since 1961. By climbing the flowery hills above the village, you will have access to an impressive panorama that stretches from Béziers to Narbonne and allows you to admire the silhouette of Canigó.
