This commune, whose name comes from a certain Lucinus who, in the Gallo-Roman period, owned an agricultural estate (villa), has a long and rich past. The current church, Saint-Yon, consecrated in 1523 by François de Poncher, bishop of Paris, is part of its architectural heritage, notably known for its Renaissance-style castle. In addition to these monuments, there is also an old wash house located in a small street behind the church and a horse bath, both restored in the 1970s. Very attractive because of its cultural, social and commercial dynamism, Lésigny has many assets worth a visit!
