THE CASTLE
This castle now belongs to Mr. Magnus and is used for receptions and filming
Built under the reign of François I, this château has had an eventful history. Initially owned by Louis de Poncher, the King's secretary, it passed through the hands of the Pierrevive family, Léonora Dori, a close associate of Marie de Médicis, and then the Duc de Luynes. After several sales, Charles Archdéacon, future mayor of Lésigny, acquired it after the Revolution. In 1958, Jacques Lacroix, co-founder of the Harcourt studio, became the owner. Abandoned for ten years, it now belongs to Mr. Magnus and hosts receptions and film shoots.
