Located in the Pays d'Auge between Lisieux and Pont-Audemer, Cormeilles is a typical village with its half-timbered houses, antique and second-hand shops, its 1960s cinema, its built and natural heritage and its calvados distillery. Crossed by the Calonne, a small river, the commune still has a Roman road that linked Lisieux to Lillebone and houses from the 16th century. As you walk along the side roads, you can admire the mills, the flax dryers, the manor houses and other churches, especially Romanesque. Don't miss its Christmas market, exhibitions, flea markets and sporting events.
