Located between the Roumois plateau and the Risle valley, the commune of Appeville-Annebault rises to an altitude of 120 m and is partly covered by the Montfort forest. It is separated from the village of Condé by the Risle, where the GR224 passes, and has a listed building: the Saint-André church, one of the largest in the former Montfort canton. The municipality of Appeville owes the addition of its name - and the construction of this charming church - to the illustrious family from Annebault-en-Auge, in the Pays d'Auge, who shone under the reigns of François I and his successor, Henri II.
