Jeurre is located at the confluence of Biel and the Héria, on the Lyon-Geneva axis, which has been, for very ancient times, an important road and river route. Until the last century, the river was used to carry fir wood. Today, it is classified as the "first category" for fishing, which became its main activity, but it also offers other sports pleasures such as canyoning. Those who prefer the land ferme on the interpretive path along the Biel River, approaching the natural sites such as the Cascade of Dover or Nerbier Cave with its 200-metre horizontal main gallery in the limestone cliff.
