Piève is an ancient village, occupied since prehistoric times, as evidenced by the many remains found on its territory. In the ancient village of Azzigliani, from which only the ruins of a chapel can be seen, there is a prehistoric cave, containing some pieces of furniture. In front of the parish church of San-Quilico, rebuilt on medieval bases, you can see the two statue-menhirs, renamed Bucentone and Murellu, as well as Capu Castincu, which is a statue-menhir head. In the surroundings, a hike leads to the San-Nicolao pass, where you can see the ruins of the Chiesa Nera (black church), built in the 13th century.
