At an altitude of 400 m, the commune of Rapale dominates the Nebbiu plain and extends as far as the Agriate desert. In a natural and preserved landscape, a path leads to the church of San Cesario built in the 12th century in the Romanesque tradition and decorated with many carved works. The main originality of the monument lies in its construction material, since the church is built in green serpentine, fitted with the utmost care. Because of these characteristics, the church has been classified as a Historical Monument. You can also visit the Chapel of St. Martin, the former parish church, preserved in a beautiful landscape
