This village composed of three hamlets offers in places an incomparable view of the whole Bastia plain as well as the Rustinu, just opposite. It is one of the oldest villages in Corsica. To see: the church Sainte-Marie-de-Canavaggia located at the bottom of the hamlet. It has a very beautiful bell tower built by Jean Toti in 1830, long after the church was built. In the hamlet of Costa Roda, we visit the church of Saint-Martin, which is actually the oldest chapel in Corsica. It has only one altar dedicated to the saint whose tabernacle exists only in this church.
