With its small fishing port of Giottani and high-lying hamlets, Barrettali embodies the archetypal Cap Corsin village, with its giant tombs such as that of the Calizi-Altieri family, visible above the road, which dates from the 1930s and has been nicknamed the Pantheon for its obvious resemblance to the Parisian monument. The Annunziata trail (distance: 1.9 km, duration: 1h10, yellow signposting) allows you to discover the tombs facing the sea, as well as the rich flora of the Furcone stream and the majestic Genoese bridge leading to Canari. In the 19thcentury , Barrettali was a citrus-growing town, recently revived by the Calizi family.
