Bordered to the east by the Tyrrhenian Sea and to the north by the Ligurian Sea, the commune of Rogliano is a superb place, divided into 8 small hamlets that offer old stones and panoramic views with a certain historical majesty. It has just over 500 inhabitants. The church of Sant'Agnellu, whose appearance dates essentially from the 16th century, boasts a beautiful Baroque façade and a remarkable marble balustrade, witness to the visit of Empress Eugénie in 1869. For lovers of religious art, the churches of San Giorgio and Santa Maria, fine examples of Corsican Romanesque art, and Saint-Côme-et-Saint-Damien, with its independent bell tower, are also worth a visit.
