The Marine de Pietracorbara, with its fine sandy beach at Ampuglia, is sure to delight swimmers. Stop off at Ponticello to see the Baroque church of Saint-Clément, the Sainte-Croix confraternity and the presbytery with its rare bell-wall. Pass through Ornetu to admire the square Genoese tower from the XVᵉ century, as well as the former barracks of the "Voltigeurs", the Corsican gendarmerie who fought bandits in the XIXᵉ century. Climbing up to Cortina, you'll discover the XIᵉ-century Romanesque chapel dedicated to Saint-Césaire. And don't miss a visit to the old village of Lapedina and its Saint-Pancrace chapel!
