Cagnano, a village with many facets, is first of all its navy, Porticciolo (the small port) and its traditional fishing. It is in this small port that a shipyard used to armament ships for America. The beach of Cagnano, at the mouth of the Misincu, is a popular meeting place for swimmers. The algae, posidonia leaves, once invasive, are now regularly removed. The village, situated on a hill, is made up of eight hamlets, including a hamlet called Adamo, much photographed in the sixties. A cornice road from the top of the Cagnano valley leads to Luri and offers beautiful views.
