Village classified as Grand Cru on the Côte des Blancs. A few kilometers south of Epernay, Cramant is the first village of the prestigious quartet of the Côte des Blancs: Cramant-Avize-Oger-le Mesnil-sur-Oger. It is certainly one of the most beautiful terroirs of the Champagne region with its east-facing limestone slopes. This is the realm of the Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs champagne, where the chardonnay shows one of its most beautiful expressions. Coming from Epernay and entering the Chardonnay estate, a giant bottle, 8.60 m high, signals the village. It was made for the first champagne festival in June 1974.
