Situated on a hillside in the Champagne vineyards, 6 kilometres from Epernay, the small village of Chavot-Courcourt has just under 400 inhabitants. Inhabited since Neolithic times, it has several hamlets: Courcourt, la Ferme du Jard, les Fleuries, la Grange au Bois and le Pont de Bois. You can admire an ancient well dating from the Gallo-Roman period and a beautiful church, located outside the village. It was built in 1202 and has a long history, it was burned in 1567 during the wars of religion, then rebuilt in 1579. The village of Chabot-Courcourt also has several wash houses and flowery wine presses
