Travel Guide Prats-Du-Périgord

Prats-du-Périgord has a beautiful heritage: the wash house and the fountain, but also the church, classified as a historical monument, with its imposing bell tower wall which was used to protect the villagers from armed bands. Above all, its 13th century castle was the object of numerous attacks since it is located on the road leading from Sarlat to Gourdon. Fortunately, when the Wars of Religion ended, it was rebuilt in a Renaissance style. As far as nature is concerned, it is obvious that the village has many assets, starting with the source of La Lémance, but also hiking trails and a Nordic walking course.
