L'Atelier du Chocolat has been an ambassador of taste and craftsmanship since 1951. Chocolate has been part of the gastronomic landscape of the Basque Country and its culinary traditions since the ^17th century, with Bayonne being the French City of Chocolate. This boutique, like the 5 others in the Basque Country (35 in total in France), offers a wide variety of chocolates in all their splendor. Bouquets de Chocolat®, chocolate spreads, gift boxes and gift sets, as well as a range of organic chocolates.

At the confluence of three departments, Gironde, Dordogne and Lot-et-Garonne, Pays Foyen welcomes you to this beautiful 250 m² space dedicated to the promotion of the region and wine tourism. The "Tourism & Wine" area includes a branch of the Tourist Office of the Pays Foyen and the Association des Vignes aux Vins en Pays Foyen. Art exhibitions and thematic activities such as conferences, workshops and craft markets are regularly organised here. The association des Vignes aux Vins en Pays Foyen also invites you to discover and taste the production of 48 wine growers listed through 6 local appellations: Sainte-Foy-Bordeaux, Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur, Bergerac, Montravel, Saussignac and Côtes de Duras. In total, there are more than 100 wines in white, rosé, red, sweet and sweet at property prices! The "Tourism & Wine" area is also a place for television presentation of the historical, economic and wine-growing heritage. Vincent grows, produces and transforms top-of-the-range hazelnuts into exceptional gourmet products: natural, sweet, savory, oil... Over the past five years, some 1,200 organic hazelnut trees have been planted on a 3-hectare site on the banks of the River Nivelle. A unique facility in a setting dedicated to the processing of harvests and their transformation in an experimental orchard. There are themed tastings and a stop-off at the boutique or tea room, where you'll find a range of recipes, and a panoramic terrace overlooking the plantation.

Self-taught and passionate about chocolate, Virginie, the founder, invented her own chocolate, which led her to discover plantations in Costa Rica, Vietnam, Mexico... in all, a dozen producing countries supply the world's finest cocoas. From her workshop in Tarnos, our chocolatière creates a multitude of combinations that can be found in her chocolate cellar, as well as creations by other artisan chocolatiers in the heart of Bayonne. Welcome to our cellar of chocolates, an invitation to travel and savour.

Nestling in a valley with sandy/gravelly terroir to the north of Saint-Emilion's Cadet hillock, Château Petit Val is a grand cru full of charm. The cuvée tradition asserts itself with a "V" at the top of the label, while "La Muse du Val" stands out with an "M" as in majestic. Château Petit Val is produced with respect for the environment, the terroir and the vines, in accordance with the principles of sustainable agriculture (working with horses, respecting biodiversity, etc.). A number of beehives find refuge close to the vines.

The red gold has its letters of nobility with Biper Gorri, "the Basque spice" better known under the name of Espelette pepper. The Castanchoa brothers have been producing excellence for several years, transforming the family farm into a chili pepper farm with all possible variations (powder, braids, jellies, jams, mustard, etc.) and organic certification since 2013. A spice recognized for its medicinal virtues (cardiovascular diseases)...

La Fabrique à Desserts is a tea room that delights you with traditional or signature fine pastries (some are gluten-free). With their freshness and well-controlled sugar content, they're well worth the detour. The hardest part will be choosing. You'll also find lactose-free homemade cakes, confectionery, cookies, entremets to share, chocolate bars from Maison Pralus, ice creams... And a fine selection of teas (FBKT). In Celle-Lévescault, at the Domaine du Parc farm, thanks to his herd of 300 goats, Jean-Frédéric Granger produces cheeses, in organic farming. There is of course the famous chabichou, the logs, the more or less creamy round, but also the ashy pyramid, the fresh tommes and the cheeses with spices (paprika, parsley-tomato-ciboulette...). He transforms meat into terrines, rillettes, sausage or chorizo, and even produces some goat's milk soaps. He sells his cheeses at the farm and at markets from Wednesday to Sunday.

Established in Espelette for 50 years, René Massonde, a great name in Basque butchery and sausage making, is also present at the dynamic Halles de Saint-Jean-de-Luz. With this quality and this artisanal know-how always preserved by Nicolas Massonde who works the products with passion. Here you will find preserves, pâtés, cold cuts, cured meats, not forgetting the sublime IGP Bayonne ham, the piquant Espelette pepper pâté, foie gras, duck or pigeon confit.

Owned by the Gutmann family since 2016, Château Jouvente is located in the heart of the Graves appellation. Not only does it produce excellent wine, but it's also home to a passion for art... After a stay in the vineyards, illustrator Caroline Desnoette created the label for the 2016 cuvée. In a brand-new building, here's a store where pork lovers will be delighted to find the finest meats, charcuterie and preserves from Champs Bay. For five generations, the Debien family has been raising pigs using integrated farming methods (pork welfare and antibiotic-free). Born on site, the piglets are fed on the farm's own cereals. In the store, you'll find fresh IGP Porc du Sud-Ouest pork meats (filet mignon, sauté, roast, grilled...), as well as numerous products from partner producers.

In this sublime little grocery store, with its rustic yet modern touches, you'll be warmly welcomed by Diane and Pierre, two lovers of French terroir. The store offers a wide selection of oils and vinegars, spices, spreads and sauces, aperitifs and seafood. Sweet treats include tea, honey, jams, cakes, candies and chocolates. Our partner producers are carefully chosen, and our products are selected with particular attention to their craftsmanship.

Located in the heart of Bayonne, Kevin's radiant boutique offers premium spirits, with an exceptional selection of whiskies from around the world, as well as rums, gins, tequilas, vodkas and more. In a hushed atmosphere and with this large table where you can taste these subtle stills, you can also share and accompany boards of charcuterie and cheeses from local artisans. Every Friday evening, there are themed tastings of spirits. And every week, the latest nuggets from the ends of the earth.

Philippe's long experience in market gardening brings rigor and professionalism to this vast space dedicated to fruit, vegetables and other quality products. Bulk olive oils, natural vinegars, jams, honeys, homemade sauces and fruit juices, candied fruits, beers and more. The Blancpignon district is a veritable fresh produce market, with a brewery, a delicatessen, an escape game, a restaurant and a grocery store. Thanks to its parking lot, each establishment is easily accessible.

M Les Choux's handcrafted choux pastries come in sweet and savory versions. They are filled with a famous blend of whipped cream, custard and mascarpone. A different choux is offered each week, in addition to the six flavors offered throughout the year (chocolate, vanilla, salted butter caramel, coffee, rum, praline and lemon). M Les Choux also delights the taste buds with savory creations: foie gras, avocado and salmon, chorizo-goat, truffled ham.

This boutique specializing in coffee roasting also doubles as a tea room. The atmosphere is convivial and conducive to cocooning! A dozen coffees selected from around the world (Colombia, Brazil, Burundi, Papua New Guinea, organic Mexico, Costa Rica, Italian blends, etc.) and some sixty teas (Indian, Japanese, Ceylon, Chinese green or white, Christmas red - rooibos) share the limelight. Julie is a real enthusiast, and you only have to push open the door of her chocolate shop to be convinced. Located in the heart of the market district, this sweet-smelling shop is dedicated to gourmands. Having worked in some of the world's top chocolate houses, Julie, accompanied by her sister, offers not only fair-trade and organic chocolates, but also original creations and vegan and gluten-free pastries. We appreciate the Rochelaise (almond paste, cognac and pineau), the chocolate by the slice and the ice creams made by hand. La Cabosse is also committed to zero waste!

Le Jardin des Marmites saw the light of day at the end of 2023, the fruit of a long reflection that gave birth to a gourmet grocery store in the heart of Blaye. The place is a local treasure. Run by Myriam and Jean Damien, it seduces the taste buds with an exquisite selection of regional and organic products. Terrines, cookies and other spreads for a colorful aperitif, local wines and sweet delights are all on offer. An ode to authentic flavors and regional craftsmanship, where every visit is a gastronomic stroll. A charming tea room nestled at the back of the store awaits you for a sweet break.

An institution not to be missed on this dynamic avenue de Verdun. A large red awning, a tempting window display, and you enter to smell the perfumes and other aromas of the cured meats, home-cooked dishes and spit-roasted chicken... From father to son to daughter, Maison Labourdette is the epitome of savoir-faire. Head pâté, duck confit, stuffed tomatoes, home-made sauerkraut, salads, sausages and other sweet treats.

It's in the Saint-Esprit district that we discover this island of oriental and Turkish flavors. Grocery and greengrocery with the essential spices and a magnificent display of halal meats. The "House of Charente" offers you a trip to the country of gastronomy and duck.
Sure you will find your happiness between preserved duck and cut products. For example, their specialities like the foie gras of whole duck half-baked at 53 € la bowl of 530 g, or the neck of duck stuffed with foie gras at 36 € per kilo. But these are many preparations to be discovered like the foie gras, the duck civet on oyster farms, not forgetting regional products: salt, jams, wines, vinegar, which highlight charentais. Loïc is the latest in a long line of talented Basque cake-makers. Our artisan pastry chef of 42 years has finally made his dream come true by setting up his own workshop-boutique in Bayonne. On site, he controls his production from A to Z. Crowned best Basque cake in Bayonne in 1996, he now makes some thirty pieces a day using Herriko flour. These include cream, cherry and chocolate cakes, as well as shortbread and other boxed versions.

Located in the heart of the (busy!) Saint-Frédéric business park, the establishment of Côté Cave is an excellent initiative by Maison Duprat, well known here for its bottling line. The employees of the many businesses around this new winery are delighted with the proximity, diversity and choice, with exceptional value for money. Over 600 references, including wines from here and abroad (and even from far away!), spirits and beers, including the Duprat house beer, which works directly with the brewers. Already a guaranteed success.

A historical reference in the art of tea since 1823, the Compagnie Anglaise des Thés offers a very diverse selection of this ancient aromatic beverage! From blends with original aromas to more classic nectars, the pretty Bayonne store offers many teas from different regions. Among the many references - no less than 300! -You will find black, white and green teas, rooibos (red teas without theine), gourmet teas, spices, infusions...

Since the recent closure of Vital, the last remaining shop in Houeillès, villagers have been able to count on the services of l'Epi se Rit, a mobile grocery store run by Estelle Labadie from the neighboring Landes region. In her truck, you'll find all the essentials: fruit, vegetables, eggs, cheese, meat, preserves, cleaning products, small hardware items and local produce. For even better service, home delivery is available for those who can't get there, but only by order.

A traditional bakery-pastry shop much appreciated by the locals and a pleasure to discover. The bread is crisp and tasty, and the welcome warm. It's said that some people come from far and wide to buy choux garnis at L'Escale Boulangère. The viennoiseries don't disappoint either. In homage to his Mauritian grandmother, Xavier Ricci continues the tradition of preparing organic rhums arrangés. A fair-trade, eco-responsible and environmentally-friendly craft! Xavier Ricci has won several awards at the Top Rum international competition, including "Best Organic Product", and has been recognized as a quality artisan by the Collège Culinaire de France. A wide range of flavours: Ti'punch du monde range with American (pecan/maple sugar), Japanese (Yuzu/Sudachi/wasabi), or limited editions with Ti'punch coquin.

Why go to Benoît Van Brabandt to buy tea? Quite simply because this northerner, a master brewer and herbalist, buys tea, tastes it, blends it and sells it under his brand. He has 400 varieties of tea to his credit from some twenty countries. To honor his adopted city, he has given evocative names to teas with fragrant blends and infusions based on typical plants such as maritime pine or mimosa: Le Pyla green tea, Earl Grey d'Arcachon, Arcachon breakfast, Jardin d'hiver or Le Ferret infusion, etc.

Founded in 1965 by Jean Pierre Peyvergès, this estate was taken over by his sons Pascal and Alexis, who gave it an organic orientation and obtained the ecocert label in 2008. Over 13 and a half hectares, the vines now grow respectful of the soil, creating elegant, aromatic and complex grape varieties of red, white, rosé and even crémant de bordeaux wines!

A trio of cattle breeders offer a whirlwind of local dairy flavors: raw-milk tomme, creamy fromage blanc, plain and fruit yogurts, and the famous Paloubéen with its flowery rind. The small farm produces around 50,000 liters of milk a year - a very small quantity, in other words, but a guarantee of the extreme quality of its products, which are snapped up by restaurateurs and gourmets alike. By limiting the collection of the milk needed to make this soft gold to a circle of 50 km and 140 producers, the Echiré dairy aims to stay as close as possible to its terroir. Its membership of the AOC Charentes-Poitou "Beurre des Deux-Sèvres" label is well-deserved. Among the products available, in addition to the mild and semi-salted ranges, is a "drier" butter, specially designed for cooking and pastry-making, with the particularity of revealing only 14% moisture.
