Happiness in Périgord smells of walnuts and hazelnuts! Modestly, Nicolas Pommier says he hasn't invented anything... He simply follows traditional Périgord recipes to the letter. The mill has been in his family for 5 generations. Suffice to say, he's a master of his craft! The oils are made on site from December to March. In your basket, you'll leave with virgin oils, delicious traditional waffle rolls (orange, plain, chocolate...) and the feeling of having had a rare encounter with a passionate man. A must!

High season: open Wednesdays, 9:30am to 12:30pm and 2pm to 5:30pm. Visits the rest of the year by appointment (minimum 4 people).

Message from Management

Le Moulin de Landry is an authentic oil mill located in Chanterac. You will find there walnut oil and hazelnut oil "virgin" from fruits rigorously selected and endowed with exceptional gustative qualities. They are made according to the traditional method of the Périgord. You will also find selected products made with care. These include artisanal waffles prepared with additive-free flour from local wheat, fresh eggs, pure butter and sugar. They are available in 5 flavors, including plain, anise, orange, chestnut and chocolate... Moreover, you can visit this place to discover the old material necessary to the manufacture of oil and also the millstone and the old bakery of the end of the XIXth century. All these products can be found on their online store. You can also enjoy a walk along the waterfront, as a 900 m long circuit has been set up. A beautiful place to discover!
