The Domaine des Bruniers has been producing Quincy for many years. Exposed on the banks of the Cher, the vineyard grows on terraces of sand and gravel resting on the limestone and clay of the banks. This noble terroir allows the Sauvignon grape variety to reach maturity very early. It is on these soils that it reaches the full bloom of its aromas and flavour, giving it its originality. Go and visit Jérôme de La Chaise, by appointment! A tasting room and a reception area have been set up for our pleasure.

In the Roy family, wine is a passion that is passed on from generation to generation. Anne-Cécile has taken up the torch lit by her great-grandfather. She continues the action of her father who, already 50 years ago, wanted to produce his wines in the most natural way possible. This will is found from the mechanical weeding to the manual harvest and of course in all the stages of the wine making, which gives wines of soil, far from standardization. The domain and the cellar can be visited and an area is available for camping-cars.

Because it's not just salt: pepper is also available in a variety of seasonings, just like olives and other condiments (turmeric, curry, etc.). LA COMPAGNIE DES MARCHÉS

In the Torche activity area, not far from the ring road, stands the wooden dome of the Compagnie des Marché. The principle? The primeur, the fish, the grocer, the confectionery maker, the baker, the cheese, the winemaker and the butcher are gathered under the same roof, to avoid running in all directions, while encouraging you to eat good products. Moreover, supply is mainly made to local and regional producers: You will be able to obtain local products and professionals are there to advise you about their preparation. The advantage of the Market Company is also its 150-seat parking lot, very convenient when you want to save time. The Market Company is also a restaurant and bistro. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is fun to see the duo of cooks activate behind the bar, and prepare plates with speed and skill, under the eyes of the customers. The dishes are exclusively cooked with the products sold to the nearby stalls, and that's really good. All the more so because the servings are generous.

MAISON SAVOURÉ

Gourmet products Beer and brewery

A very local discovery! Created by Savouré de Janville - in 2010, Beauce Cola exalts local products. The water needed to make it comes from the Beauce water table, the sugar comes from beets processed in Artenay. The Savouré did not want to copy but to adapt the recipe taking into account the local raw materials. The taste may therefore be surprising. But the Savourés know how to do it, they are the ones who made the lemonade "La Beauceronne" and who have been supplying fuel and drinks (you can't make this up!) since 1888.

DOMAINE HENRI BOURGEOIS

Winery
Closed - Open to 10h00

For 10 generations, the Bourgeois family has been winemakers from father to son to grandson, as if ad aeternam. In 1950, the estate, which consisted of only 2 hectares, was enlarged. Since then, over the years, Henri Bourgeois, his sons and grandsons, have built up a vineyard of 65 hectares, judiciously distributed over the hillsides of Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé. The different types of soil such as flint, Kimmeridgian marl, limestone, clay-limestone, sandy-gravelly, sandy-silt, silt and tuffeau offer rare specificities in the mouth. White Sancerre, pouilly-fumé, sauvignon blanc, menetou-salon, red sancerre, rosé sancerre, are pronounced ranges that give rise to beautiful restaurant combinations. We will stop at present on the pouilly-fumé, elected of our heart by its very distinct aroma but also being rare as for the beautiful quality which one owes towards, thus "La Demoiselle de Bourgeois" combines elegance and presence making of this wine whose vintage is bottled only after one year, a model of pure and delicate expression of the white Sauvignon. The Sauvignon Blanc called "Sancerre d'Antan" is not to be overlooked, especially as it is unfiltered and its fruity and mineral nuances are drawn from the exceptional flinty soil of the village of Saint-Satur. There is a tasting room open almost every day of the year, cellar visits on request... Also a restaurant nearby, run by a family member.

The Domaine Henri Bourgeois is on the move! Without appeal: INEVITABLE!

It's the love and art of coffee that the Joan-d'Arc Café teaches since May 8, 1899 (the very day of the Jeanne d'Arc Feast) to pass on to all the customers of its three delicate, so well stocked shops where the old-fashioned torréfaction from the most famous plantations from Brazil to Papua by passing by Colombia and Guatemala has been in place for more than a century. Not forgetting Ethiopia and its metaphorically moka (where in Kaffa, coffee was born). There are unique and regenerating assemblages. But they are also beautiful alliances of all kinds of aromatic tea, delicious gingerbread breads and other ephemeral and renewed treats that enhance the enchanting smells of these ad hoc decoctions. At some times of the day, when the wind manifests itself in a certain sense, one can flower or watch a nose to discover one of these three stalls present to us delight. Still a… charm…
