This bodega (cellar) offers you good wine elaborated with passion by our Catalan wine growers, cheese and other gourmet products, but also conviviality and a lot of friendship in all simplicity. If you doubt it, just come every Sunday morning for the oyster and tapas aperitif. And every day, you can come to enjoy a glass of wine, a local beer and eat some tapas. Florence and José also organize from time to time concert aperitifs in the evening. A nice "good mood" address to remember.

Under the arcades of the Place de l'Eglise, the last two Simiots of Arles are active: Joël and Patrick. Don't be afraid, go and meet them because these two lovers of good food and unavoidable characters of Arles will tell you that at their place they make pork meat "in the tradition, only salt and pepper, no preservatives, as we learned at the farm Two true defenders of good taste and clean, without addition of junk food! Since 1998, the Cap d'Ona brewery has been producing a wide range of traditional blond and amber beers, both pure malt and white, as well as beers with the flavours of the Catalan terroir and an atypical southern character. Now named the best brewery in France and the most awarded, it was elected the best Belgian beer in the world in 2021. And recently, "Cap Si Gran" was voted best spirit in the world. The visit of the brewery allows to understand the different phases of the production, from the malt mill to the bottling.

Elodie and Mathieu bought this estate in 2016, which had existed for 5 generations. The particularity of this estate is that the vineyard extends over 3 different soils: clay and limestone in Tautavel, schists on Maury and quaternary pebbles in Ribéral. This diversity has given rise to a range of 13 different wines that are regularly selected in the Hachette Guide. So many stars and favourites that we get lost a little bit but our favourites are the Prieuré 2015 (Côtes du Roussillon Villages Tautavel), a surprising red, very concentrated and also very fresh, the Maury garnet 2015 and the Maury sec 2016. You can taste all these beautiful bottles in the heart of the village, the cellar and the winemaking cellar located within the village between the two museums. Families are welcome in the cellar, Elodie and Mathieu provide children with a table with activities and colouring. Finally, because the limestone circus of Tautavel-Vingrau is one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world (and I am weighing my words), this young couple full of ideas offers you a superb villa for rent in the heart of the vineyards. If today it is essentially a wine estate, it is above all the seat of the former Templar commandery of the region. The 60-year-old Carignan, Grenache and Maccabeu grape varieties are pampered to the extreme here and flourish on a clay-limestone terroir at an altitude of over 100 metres. The choice of organic farming was an obvious one. New at the château: In a wooded and historic setting of 3 hectares, come and discover the new domain of parrots, eagles and owls that will brush you with their wings during free flight demonstrations!

A very nice and instructive stop is necessary in this vast domain dedicated to olive oil. Here are simple people who speak with love and passion about their olive trees that produce these nectars that you will taste after visiting the mill. In just a few years, they have conquered the world, since from America to Asia, the oils of Mas Saint-Pierre are on the best tables. Labour, know-how and respect for the environment... and a bit of witchcraft are the keys to this success. A shop was recently opened in Collioure. A real favourite!

The Bonzom family welcomes you in an old Cerdane farmhouse renovated in 1808. This delicatessen has become a real institution. 200 m² are dedicated to the sale, old exposed stones and hams under the vaults, and no less than 70 specialities, each one more tempting than the next: dry sausages, fuets, longanisses, soubressade... The tasting is done in the renovated stables, with good country bread and a Roussillon wine. Please note that the Bonzoms only work with meat from the Conflent, Cerdanya and Capcir regions.

A few steps from the Orgues d'Ille site, Rayon d'Or is truly the kingdom of honey. The fruit of the harvest of 25 beekeepers, honey is available here in about twenty varieties and some by-products such as its famous gingerbread, the famous nonnettes (apricot, raspberry and blueberry), gourmet sweets (thyme and liquorice honey gums or honey and eucalyptus), but also Catalan nougats and tourons without forgetting honey hypocras and finally more and more organic products. Visits to the honey house are by reservation, all year round.

Direct from the sea, the fish shops on the Catalan coast are a must. Fish from local fisheries or from the oceans, seafood and ready-made dishes and take-away trays. In the fish tank, lobsters and crayfish put on a show (children love it...) before being cooked. A few convivial tables will allow you to taste oysters, mussels and anchovies as an aperitif, with a small glass of local white wine. Côte Catalane is diversifying and becoming a fishmonger, a caterer and an oyster bar. There is something for everyone!

From early morning, the rue Berthelot is filled with the sweet scent of roasted almonds, hot chocolate and lemon... The Pons family, originally from Fenouillèdes, makes the inimitable croquants de Saint Paul de Fenouillet and the famous Rochers de Collioure in front of you. The clientele is unanimous, the Ferme des Lloses is a universe of flavours in itself. At the same time cheese refiner, organic grocery, wine bar, cellar and catering restaurant, you can find organic fruits and vegetables in season as well as fresh and natural products selected and labelled. The cheese department is of course the cornerstone of the establishment, with a large choice of farmhouse cheeses from the Pyrenees, the Alps, the Jura and elsewhere, which are carefully selected. Alain and his son are cheese ripeners, "breeders of great cheese"!

The people of Thuirin are very lucky: there are two pastry shops in their pretty town and they are both excellent! Florent is a creator of cakes, pastries and chocolates (and also a baker). Le Petit Futé fell in love with his delicious specialities, his chocolate creations or simply because you can come and have a coffee on the terrace with a croissant. Florent's also specialises in making wedding cakes, nothing better to tantalise your guests' taste buds.

On the rambla, Annie Parayre opens the doors of her store imagined and reinvented in the meanders of the rooms of the old family house. She promises us an enchanting moment to discover unusual, futile or useful objects. She dedicates her activity to the art of the table, interior and garden decoration and to the world of childhood. The kitchen has been transformed into a small tea room where a cosy atmosphere welcomes you for tea tasting and excellent cookies. This store is a place of sharing with warm and generous exchanges.

For more than 25 years Hélène and Henri have been driven by this conviction to work well and cleanly (in integrated agriculture and integrated pest management). On the stalls you will find all the good fruits and vegetables that make the reputation of the Catalan country (peaches, apricots, melons, peppers, tomatoes...). Picking takes place every day of course. But Au jardin des Saveurs is much more than a sales outlet because Hélène and Henri wanted to make this place a showcase for the products of this corner of Roussillon to which they are so attached: wines, olives, anchovies ...

SPAR Arles-sur-Tech offers a variety of fresh produce, as well as a selection of organic and regional products. The store is renowned for its strong visual identity and traditional departments. These 2000^m2 of life and sharing are the showcase of the Catalan country and its know-how. Artisanal vinegar factory now famous all over the world thanks to the enthusiasm of the best chefs. The chefs who use these wines, coming only from the Banyuls and Collioure area, matured in the Catalan sun with young and very fruity Banyuls Rimage, have understood the interest of this exceptional vinegar. Everything is done in the open air, you will see the "dames-jeannes" where the vinegar is refined, after 3 to 5 months of elaboration in oak barrels. La Guinelle elaborates, in addition to white, red or old banyuls vinegars, some "rarities" to discover absolutely.

Renowned for its Vin Doux Naturel, Maury offers a range of around twenty wines, regularly praised by the specialist press, including a very fine range of dry wines. More than 100 winegrowers are cooperators and they not only spend their time in the vineyards, they are invested in the life of the cellar. You will be able to meet them in the cellar during a tasting session and exchange with them about a common passion: the earth and the fruit it distils. Finally, the Vignerons de Maury organise events around wine every year.

At this fruit and vegetable producer who works in sustainable agriculture, you will have plenty of vitamins! According to the season, salads, beans, red onions, strawberries, including the famous gariguettes, melons, yellow melons, watermelons, peaches, apricots, and all summer the most varied tomatoes, from cocktail to cherry, beef hearts, black Crimean ... And then you can attend the manufacture of ice cream and sorbets made in Paysan Catalan with a view of the "Lab", a treat for the eyes and taste buds.

A microbrewery in Haut Vallespir created by Pierre Godron, a brewer by profession in his native Belgium and creator of the famous Chouffe. In 2021, he joined forces with a compatriot who had been living in Vallespir for many years, and bought the former Hôtel des Voyageurs in Prats de Mollo. There, he created a blond beer, a skilful brew of hops and barley with aromas of bread and apricot: "La Senyor Voltor". Named after a vulture that, according to legend, only the bears of Vallespir could see. A Belgian beer with beautiful Catalan notes!

Le Petit Futé discovered Esther and Enric in Perpignan at Pa amb Tomate, followed them to the Halles de Thuir and finally to Cabestany, where they have just opened a store specializing in refined Iberian products. Enric knows everything there is to know about the different ham appellations, and Esther is unrivalled when it comes to organizing events around good food. Come and meet them in their new lair and succumb to the charms of Iberian cured meats and cheeses. The quality is always top-notch, and you can't get enough of their lilting accents.

Wines that are different, fresh and enchanting: that's how we'd describe the flasks from the Barriot family, a couple of winegrowers who have been working in organic farming for almost 20 years. At a time of standardized taste, these natural wines are surprising and addictive. 10 ha spread over 4 different terroirs, each with its own distinctive character. An almost confidential estate, a very warm welcome and a real Futé favorite. No two cuvées are alike, so you almost forget your Côtes du Roussillon classics. A must-see!

The estate's 60 hectares are farmed with respect for the land and the life it generates, and are HVE-certified. Clos Saint-Georges is one of the few estates in the Roussillon where you can find old vintages of still red wines. As Claude confirms: "You have to let the wine rest and evolve. Last but not least, the Ortal family are simple, welcoming people who love to share and exchange. They regularly organize events around wine and culture. We especially like the superb 4 épis gite and its swimming pool.

They are: loukoums, calissons, Belgian gingerbread breads, cakes of candy, marrons marrons and especially chocolates. It is the spécialisté of the house: chocolates are made from raw materials that will be produced in accordance with tradition. You can make your sugar and your creations for the holidays. The house has confidence, it has existed since 1975.

The vineyard of Calce is located on the slopes of the Agly valley and benefits from an excellent exposure. The village is surrounded by vines that flourish on hills of limestone or schist. The winegrowers of Calce are the soul of the village wines and they claim it. Few cooperative wineries have such a soul and such strength. Few vintages, a minimalist choice to focus on quality. Taste them all, they are delicious, surprising and enchanting!

Le Potager de Louis is a veritable Ali Baba's cave for vegetarians. More than a greengrocer, it's a boutique of happiness. Most of the fruit and vegetables are sourced locally from hard-working farmers or are organic. As for the rare pearls, they come from all over the world and are rigorously selected. What we love about this store is its village market feel (right in the center of Perpignan). The stalls are colorful, the seasons are respected and the prices are reasonable. The welcome is really warm. In short, we love it!

At Mas de la Devèze, Didier is experimenting with greenhouse production of citrus fruits, mangoes, bananas and avocados... But using insects and music to replace phytosanitary products! It's this grain of healthy madness that we loved about this farmer with his strong character and laudable convictions. Converted to organic farming 10 years ago, Didier's reputation continues to grow. Come and taste all his delights, and ask him to explain his methods to you... with music!

The wines of La Rectorie are ahead of their time, but are also entirely faithful and respectful of Catalan traditions and know-how. The vineyard of this group extends over 980 ha. The wines are produced on clay-limestone soils and schistose marl, with very low yields and under sustainable management. Domaine des Chênes is an agricultural estate located in Vingrau, in the Pyrénées-Orientales department. It offers a wide range of wines, including red, sweet and white. The estate is surrounded by vineyards and benefits from a terroir that is ideal for growing grapes. The estate showcases some of its wines, such as "Les Grands Mères", a red wine made from the estate's oldest Carignan vines, and "Tuilé", a sweet wine made from the estate's oldest Grenache vines.

Well rooted in the Collioure tradition, the Piétri-Géraud estate has the know-how of 5 generations of winegrowers, and today it is 2 women, Maguy and Laetitia, who hold the reins of the estate. 20 hectares, 16 of which are on schistous terraces, a harsh terroir with a strong identity. Hundred-year-old Carignan, old Grenache and elegant Syrah on the gneiss and schist slopes of Latour convinced Jacques de Chancel to live out their passion here. In 2001, he decided to name their adventure Ausseil ("bird" in Occitan). Their 12-hectare vineyard is carefully tended, using methods that preserve the natural balance in both vine growing and winemaking. The result is harmonious, subtle Cotes-du-Roussillon-Villages and Muscat-de-Rivesaltes wines.

The Domaine de Rancy has been a family affair for a century. Each generation has brought its own personal and innovative touch to the management of the vines and the wine-making process. On soils composed of schist, gneiss, granitic and clay-limestone arenas, the winegrowers of the "cave coop" (founded in 1920) produce beautiful nectars and it is often said that the best of the department are born in the area. In addition to the often medal-winning dry wines, you will discover Rivesaltes and Muscats de Rivesaltes. 14 vintages in total for all tastes and budgets. To come to Latour is to make an escapade in a wild and authentic land.

The Garrigue family does not joke with ecology. Mont-noir comes from the name of the village "Montner", located at the foot of Força Real, a mountain covered with black schist. In the heart of this terroir, which looks east to the sea and west to the mountains, the 20 hectare vineyard produces truly delicious wines. In order to make you better acquainted with their wines and their land, this family has launched into wine tourism and offers you gourmet walks to discover the vineyard. A passion that they love to share and pass on.

Following the discovery of an old oil mill on their property, Jacqueline and Jean, producers of cherries and peaches, decided to restore it and open it to the public. They will tell you the story with passion because they both love stones, olives and history. 5 oils are produced: the lucques, the olive, the verdale and the cayon in monovarietals, and an assembly of cornicabra and cipressino. And to complete the range of pleasures, Jacqueline and Jean will make you taste their pomegranates, almonds and cherries.

Gildas looks after the 12 hectares of trees on the estate, which has the particularity of straddling the border. Olive trees, picholine and picual share the limelight with very specific varieties such as argudell and rudunell. Each season 4 single variety oils are produced in fruity green and fruity black. Isabelle also makes a delicious olive jam, olive paste, table olives and small preparations. Facing the sea, the panorama is enchanting...

The two oils of the domain (the vernal and the olive) are proposed in monovarietal: the verdale, in green fruity, and the olive, in ripe fruity. Thérèse and Christian have just won their 20th medal in 10 years with the olive variety: the gold medal at the Olivalies world competition. The secret, they confide it to us a little "to have a good oil, it is necessary to assemble the ripeness of the harvest over about 20 days". Soaps, condiments, tapenades and many other products are also on sale in the large shop.

The organic farm is composed mainly of century-old olive trees and a young plantation of olive and redouneil varieties, typical of the Albères region. This family business produces only extra virgin olive oils, in fruity or ripe monovarietal. You must try their olive and fig chutney and the Oliv'gingembre preparation made from olives and herbs from the garrigue and ginger. Awarded four times in 2011 for all its work, the Gaec Perarnaud is a quality farm. No doubt privileged by the Pyrenees natural meadows where this generous nature rich in flowers and other fodder herbs gives the meat this exceptional taste. This ecological agriculture is rightly rewarded by what is too rare. So bravo to the Pérarnaud family for its 1 st prize: Agriculture, Biodiversity, Landscape and Excellence. Do not hesitate, they sell their products from the farm and are welcoming as are all people in the mountain.

Welcome to the farm! At the very top of Formiguères, Françoise and Jean-Pierre will make you discover their ewe breeding for the greatest happiness of the young and old. The love they have for their animals can be felt in the production and they will be happy to make you taste the yoghurts and cheeses made from sheep's milk. Tommes, bricks, Pérail, lactic and bush, here everything smells of nature and tradition. A superb wooden and stone gîte with the 3 ears of corn label is available to rent for a week or a weekend, an invitation to discover the wonders of the Capcir.

Domaine Pons Gralet is an 8-hectare estate on a human scale, which has been organically farmed since 2002, and has recently introduced biodynamic principles. The Agly valley, like the Côte Vermeille, is one of the regions with the lowest wine yields in France. This dry, windy climate is ideal for growing vines, particularly in organic conditions, and means that chemical inputs are kept to a minimum. The estate is scattered over several small, juxtaposed territories: Montner, Tautavel and Maury. As a result, the diversity of clay-limestone, schist, pebble and schist basalt soils enhances the diversity of aromas found in the wines. "Each of our vineyards is located in a specific appellation: Côtes du Roussillon Villages for the reds, Côtes du Roussillon for the whites and rosés, and of course Rivesaltes and Maury for the VDNs," explains Christian. The family claims to be "paysanne-vigneronne" and will welcome you in the purest Catalan tradition for a tasting of all their nuggets at the cellar in the village center.
