A real market with a food part at low prices, but above all, what makes its charm, is the clothes and street vendors side. A real Mediterranean atmosphere reigns on this market which is the largest in Perpignan. For the folklore, it is on Sunday. Bargains not to be missed, bargains, second-hand goods... The ideal place for a little Sunday visit and finally to sit down at a café terrace right next to it simply to watch the entertainment.

These 2000^m2 of life and sharing are the showcase of the Catalan country and its know-how. More than 20 gastronomic artisans from all over the world have a store in the Halles Vauban in the heart of Perpignan. In a friendly atmosphere, at noon, for an aperitif or for dinner, food artisans, traditional shops, grocery stores, restaurants and bars welcome you and offer you their specialties. All you have to do is sit down and enjoy fresh, quality local products and have a good time with your family or friends!

Tuesday is the day of the traditional big market in Prades and Saturday is the day of the organic market, both of which take place on the Place de la République surrounded by cafés and terraces. This charming town, located at the foot of the sacred mountain of the Catalans, welcomes every week many traders, producers and craftsmen who are delighted to be able to present and offer their local products to a clientele that is now very loyal. True places of life, the markets are the soul of our villages that many tourists envy us.

In the heart of the historic centre of the city, a food market is held 6 days a week, but traditionally it is bigger on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, with an organic trend on Saturdays. The best producers of the area are there and you will be amazed by the quality and freshness of some of the products. This market is also worth the detour to admire the beautiful houses that surround the square and have a little coffee on the terrace.

Just opposite the tourist office, on the other side of the stream, the craftsmen and producers of the Catalan Country invite you to discover their creations and their local products. L'Echoppe des Artisans is more than a grouping of know-how, it is an original and greedy exhibition which opens every summer for 30 years in the town hall.
