As he likes to say, he is the specialist of "artisan winemakers" in particular. What the Petit Futé will remember are the memorable themed evenings on one Thursday a month with the winegrowers for private tastings, by invitation. And every other Thursday, tasting evenings with tapas around the barrels laid out on the sidewalk.

The Château de Corneilla was built in the 12th century by the Templars in the heart of Roussillon. Today, Philippe and William Jonquères d'Oriola (26th and 27th generation of winegrowers) produce wines in the 3 colours and VDN, 17 references in total. The vineyards and the olive orchard represent a surface of 100 ha of crops and extend over 5 appellations in Roussillon. The family also produces an organic "Extra Virgin" olive oil.

Marion is now open on the street and offers you her secret specialties on the terrace. She can also put together your own platter for a romantic meal, a get-together with friends or a special event, as a buffet delivered to your door or "click & collect". You'll be offered veritable works of art, with seasonal fruit and vegetables, as well as charcuterie and cheeses produced locally by our regional farmers. Your tray is composed according to your tastes, taking into account any allergies you may have. The artistic side is stunning!

The Pellissier family has been farming in Saint-Paul for 20 years. In their brand-new store, "Chez Vanessa et Bertrand", at the entrance to the village, you'll find beef, lamb, cochonailles, cooked dishes and wine. The quality is top-notch and the prices are very reasonable. In May 2023, Les Pellissier were crowned world champions of the Catalan sausage! We tried this famous sausage, and it's really delicious. An address to remember and a great initiative, directly from the farmer to the consumer.

Elfe d'aquí is Sylvie and her traditional or new jams and preserves, of the seasons, made with local fruits, plants and flowers. We love her elderberry or dandelion flower jellies, the touch of thyme, rosemary or wild thyme that perfume her jams. If she practices wild harvesting, she also obtains from local producers, in sweet wines for example, for her muscat or banyuls confits. And its banana or mango jams are flavoured with a local ingredient all the same? Poetry in a jar.

"Bio-altitude wines! "This is how we could define the wines of Patrice and Aliette Bourg. Grown on a living land, more temperate than in the plains and which suffers less from drought, the juices of this nature-loving couple are simply atypical: fresh, balanced in acidity and above all incredibly delicious. Crazy expression of aromas and greediness are the words that come to us instinctively when tasting the nectars of Domaine Grain d'Orient. An undeniable success and a reputation that continues to grow!

A la Ruche is the passion of good taste from father to son for 30 years. The old school turned shop is a beautiful Ali Baba's cave where Vincent will make you discover a wide range of honeys and about fifteen products derived from honey: vinegar, mead, spread... The gingerbread made and baked on the spot every day is a real treat. It can be tasted, just like the nougatines or the fruit juices, on the terrace, in the shade of the mulberry tree, on the very pretty Place de l'Ecole in the heart of this astonishing medieval village which remains lively in summer and winter.

This grouping of 14 honey producers from the department is a great idea. In turn, the co-operators come to run the shop in this brand new building where the honeys of our department are on sale. Chestnut, rhododendron, thyme, garrigue honey, the list is long. But much more than a simple point of sale, a guided tour will make you aware of the beekeeping techniques from the extraction of honey to the potting and the role of bees for our life on earth.

The Vassail-Planes family welcomes you to their farm in a convivial way, around a very copious snack, and served with local wines. Foies gras, whole, half-cooked, with figs, with two peppers, with truffles, duck rillettes, confit, magret, terrines and small local dishes. You will have plenty of time during the visit to the farm and the canning factory in the middle of cork and holm oaks to appreciate the daily work of this family.

Since 1976, the Herre and Berçot families have been winegrowers, harvesters and sellers of their own brand: the Cave Tambour. From the meeting between sea and mountain are born spectacular landscapes conquered by force on nature that the domain offers you to discover from the sea by catamaran, from the sky by helicopter and of course from land on foot, by buggy or 4x4. The estate also offers great services in wine tourism: winegrowers' agape, wine tasting initiations with a visit to the winery and theme evenings just to feel the wine bloom with music!

Without waiting for fashions or trends, Jean François cultivates his vines with respect for the earth with a conviction as deeply rooted in the family as a vine in the soil. Ploughing is done with two mules, driven by their traginer (mule driver in Catalan), weeding with 7 sheep and soon cows... The equation between an exceptional terroir and an outstanding winegrower produces delicate and sought-after wines. The yields are very low, the concentration strong and... it is the soul of the Côte Vermeille that you discover at the bottom of the glass!

The Maillol family have been established on their terroir and have been making banyuls since 1611. When you take the route des Mas, in the middle of its powerful slopes where the vines take root, and which forbid any mechanization of the work, you understand better these mountain sculptors that are the winegrowers of here! The cellar and the tasting cellar are still in their juice, which is what makes all the charm. The two brothers organise tasting workshops and offer visits of the vineyard. On an excellent, high-altitude terroir of predominantly limestone, Raphaël tends 8 hectares of vines using certified organic and Demeter farming methods. "The precepts of biodynamic viticulture reveal our terroirs and enable the wines to express their identities to the full," he confides. Raphaël is a goldsmith of vines and wine, a man in love with and respectful of nature and its cycles. Hand-harvesting, natural vinification, zero inputs... minimal intervention to let the terroir speak for itself and produce natural, fresh and authentic wines. We love it!

The Espinet butcher's shop has been a family affair for over 50 years. Know-how has been passed down from father to son, and David is proud to be one of the last butchers in Perpignan to cut his own carcasses. This craftsmanship pays off - you just have to look at the butcher's stall, not at it. The choice of product, but also the art of cutting, confides David: "I serve my customers as if I were serving myself". That's enough praise... As you can see, you're in the temple of good taste, the kind that's becoming rare and precious.

At Josy and Luc's, it's the sun, the passion for the job and the love of the land that you discover at the bottom of a glass. The tasting cellar is at the top of the village and offers a breathtaking view of the bay! The Domaine Sant Jordi has a gîte and superb guest rooms and can host seminars or professional events. Finally, once the visit to the cellar is over, we advise you to come back to the seaside to taste the cuisine of La Table de Jordi. Le Futé fell in love with this couple of cheerful people with a big heart and lots of ideas!

For 35 years, Hélène has not only delighted you with her fine products, she also brightens our day with her inimitable smile. She's a lively, dynamic woman who listens to her customers and is supported by a highly competent team. Le Petit Futé met and fell in love with Circé la Magicienne! Mickaël Georget is one of a group of winegrowers who are passionate about biodynamics, men of the soil who respect, love and ennoble the land. 10 ha and a horse, that's the result. To the "zero pollution" ethic has been added the choice of "zero sulphite" since Le Temps Retrouvé has taken a step towards natural wines. Both the specialists and the best restaurateurs in the department will tell you: Attention talent! This guy is to be followed closely. This is the story of 3 wine-loving friends who dreamed of making a great nectar in Roussillon. The vineyard extends over 12 ha at the foot of the Tautavel cirque. Passion and know-how have been making the difference in the glass for about fifteen years. The Racine Carrée cuvées in white and red, aged between 8 and 12 months in barrels are simply magical. Emotion locked in a bottle and also emotion acclaimed by the specialized press! In the cellar, the adorable Ghislaine will make you taste the treasures of the domain and you will be conquered!

Domaine des Demoiselles is an old Catalan farmhouse overlooking the hills. Isabelle and Didier, a beautiful duo of passionate winemakers will talk to you about wine and love. They vinify the wines and take care of the work in the vineyard, and they both make one of the best bottles of the department according to connoisseurs. Elegant, fine and sometimes powerful, the Domaine's nectars leave no one indifferent as they are so singular. You can taste them in the old cellar with its thick stone walls and barrels lined up in the half-light. We fall in love with the Futé!

This vineyard, which has been in existence since 1897, today covers 23 hectares of land, mainly made up of Pliocene terraces: clay and sandy soils containing numerous quartz pebbles. Frédéric Belmas, who represents the^5th generation, cultivates 14 different grape varieties allowing for a variety of dry and sweet wines. The Mas Alart team is now involved in wine tourism and offers tours to help you discover the world of wine and its secrets in July and August. The Petit Futé had a big crush on this domain!

Jean-Patrick Pensuet is an artisan baker of France and has won many awards:^1st prize for the best baguette and the best butter croissant in the P.-O. the same year. When Marie-Jo and her smiling saleswomen open the doors at 6:30 a.m., you can smell the fragrance of good breads made with quality flours, a blend of wheat selected from farmers who respect the environment. The homemade pastries are very popular with customers who sit on the terrace or in the snack area to taste the creations of J.-P. and his team.

Craft breweries are springing up like mushrooms... and these new foams sometimes look a bit alike. But the Petit Futé has found you a unique product - one never seen before in the region. We love LFT, this beer has its own signature mouthfeel, and it's truly mesmerizing. 100% local and brewed with barley from the Cerdagne region, this frothy beer reminds us of the spirit of natural winegrowers. Who doesn't know Cémoi chocolate? This group, which has been built up over two centuries around numerous family companies, has become the leading French chocolate maker, famous throughout the country for its little marshmallow bear. A video space explains the traceability of chocolate from the place of production, taking care of the quality of life of the planter by allowing small producers to live with dignity from their work, from the preservation of the environment to the transformation for a 100% French product.

The Moulin de l'Agly d'Albert is a 5.5 ha orchard, composed of 5 varieties of olive trees (Bouteillan, Lucques, Manzanille, Sevillan, Dahbia), that is to say 1,500 trees! Cultivated with the greatest care in organic farming, the cold extracted olive oils of exceptional quality will accompany all your dishes with originality and authenticity. Come and taste them, they are delicious! You will also find 2 gîtes (for one and two people) open between June and September.

One of the addresses that made the "rue des Senteurs" a legend in Perpignan. How can such a small shop hold so many treasures? More than 3,000 products are crammed into twenty square metres and a stall outside! Thousands of spices, dried fish, real soubressade from Majorca, dried fruit... and of course olives. Rare spices from the ends of the earth, concentrates of flavour also in small bottles. Professionals find here all the aromas and natural colourings to sublimate their dishes.

Pastry chef, chocolate maker, ice cream maker and world champion of the Dessert Trades, Olivier Bajard is the reference in the field of sweets. In his pastry school, training courses are offered to professionals, and on Saturdays, workshops and demonstrations for the general public (and children) led by great chefs. Learning is essential, but tasting is even more so when you go to the shop: mignardises, macaroons, assorted petits fours, ice creams and entremets are available in exquisite colours and flavours invented for each season.

At Chateau Nadal Hainaut, viticulture has been a family affair for 5 generations. 49 ha out of 125 are converted to organic since 2013 and are cultivated on stony terraces surrounding the family property, a former Cistercian priory of the 12th century. The place is simply sublime: the tasting cellar, the reception room, the chapel or the park and its pond. We love the wines, the family and the place. So why not spend your vacations in the large gite installed in a wing of the priory in the heart of the vineyard. Magical!

Since 1903, the Desclaux company has been passing on its craftsmanship from father to son. The anchovies are salted by hand, then cleaned and placed in a crown in barrels of brine to obtain an incomparable aroma and taste. In the shop, you can find canned anchovies and especially semi-fresh anchovies with various seasonings. The production workshops are not open to the public, but in the old adjoining workshop, a worker will repeat the same gestures in front of you! Maison Desclaux has just opened a superb delicatessen in the centre of Collioure.

Espi has been a real institution for more than 40 years. In the showcases, pastries always line up very chocolate creations, fruit mousses, pies, saint-honoré, colourful palette of macaroons... it is hard to choose where to start, everything is beautiful and tempting. However, it is a pity that the portions somewhat has decreased (but not the prices) since the venerable house has made by the excellent Confiserie du Tech. Chocolate and tourons displays, which are also "homemade", excite our greed. From 8:00 am, still warm pastries and bread freshly baked fill the shop. For those who have time, it is best to enjoy on the spot; the cosy and refined tea room or the terrace on the quai Vauban are perfectly suitable.

A real market with a food part at low prices, but above all, what makes its charm, is the clothes and street vendors side. A real Mediterranean atmosphere reigns on this market which is the largest in Perpignan. For the folklore, it is on Sunday. Bargains not to be missed, bargains, second-hand goods... The ideal place for a little Sunday visit and finally to sit down at a café terrace right next to it simply to watch the entertainment.

Founded in 1290, this former convent, which almost fell into oblivion after the French Revolution, has been the property of the winegrowers of Collioure since 1926. The cellar groups together 160 winegrowers producing the great PDO wines of Banyuls and Collioure. A visit to the cellar is not only educational but also a delight for the eyes when you discover the tuns room located in the nave of the old 13th century church. A convent dedicated to wines, this is unique! The visit ends with a nice tasting.

"No more running from farm to farm or market to market to find the right farm products" is the motto of Ah la La Laiterie. Its concept, a grouping of local producers giving pride of place to the farmers of Cerdanya and Capcir. Seasonal fruits, vegetables, meats and of course Catalan charcuterie, cheeses from the surrounding farms with goat, sheep or cow, milk and yoghurts, local beers and wines. Traceability is the watchword of the shop. A friendly and intelligent fair trade place that is a real success.

V&B (pronounced "vi and bi") is a clever mix between an Irish pub on the one hand and a wine cellar on the other, under the principle of "two beers in one go", a formula that appeals! The motto of the house is: "here, beer democratizes wine and wine ennobles beer". You can choose from 350 different beers, German, Belgian, Canadian, Quebecois, French... and Catalan, 350 wines from independent producers and 200 whiskies, including some of the most surprising Japanese whiskies. You can rent beer taps for your parties.

Patrice Ey is the darling of restaurateurs, his tomatoes enchant their cuisine. Rose de Berne, coeur de boeuf, petite poire are some of the pretty names you will find on the stalls. The reputation of this farmer is well established, we go there with our eyes closed. You will also find beautiful poultry, goat and sheep cheese, olives, oil, jams and honey from the region. The farm is located at the entrance of Saint-Estève when you arrive from Perpignan. Do not miss the new educational farm for the "nins".

The visit of the oldest cellar of Banyuls takes place in a decor of old warehouse factory, with beautiful presses, old tuns dating from 1921 which constitute a real aromatic archive. You will also see a line of glass bottles allowing the wine to benefit from the sun between 8 and 12 months. Selections of vintages of all ages on Banyuls Grand Cru and Collioures are for sale at the winery. A star that shines very high in the sky in view of the numerous awards received each year.

On the black schist hills above Espira de l'Agly, Denis Sarda works his vines biodynamically, respecting the natural rhythm of the seasons. He adds: "At Vieux Chêne, it is the alchemy of a careful cultivation of the vine, the seriousness of the winemaker and his entire team. A brave mare, nicely named "Venise", helps Denis to look after the vines. The wines of the domain are the image of this boy, they breathe the garrigue and the love of work carried out in harmony with nature. They are straight and powerful, we love them!

With its 45,000 trees or 30 hectares, the olive grove stretches between the hills of the Corbières and the pond of Salses. 3 varieties are grown organically: arbequine and arboussane (Catalan) and koroneiki (Greek). From cultivation to harvesting, including cold pressing, everything is done according to the rules of the art. To protect it from the light, it is packaged in metal cans under the PAPILLON brand, a prestigious brand that can be found on the best tables in the region

On the heights of the Bay of Banyuls, Jean Christophe writes the history of Clos Castell day after day. "A good wine begins in the vineyard", says this goldsmith who makes niche wines that only the luckiest of people will be able to taste, as he only makes 8,000 bottles! The effect on the palate of his bottles is as striking as the view of the surrounding peaks! The absence of mechanical and chemical treatment preserves the aroma of his nectars. We discovered a character with a big heart, as we like them at the Petit Futé, an endearing purist, a nugget.

A successful conversion for this physics and chemistry teacher, who decided to take a new turn in his life. Laurent's beers are brewed with organic French malts and hops. Brewed on site, in the heart of Perpignan, the beers are unfiltered, unpasteurized and refermented in the bottle. As for alcohol content, the Boc is 5° for the white and 5.5° for the others. The best thing to do is to come and taste it directly at the brewery, a magical place where, between the clinking of glasses, good words and laughter flow.
