The vines of the Domaine Cyril Houzé are mainly located in the communes of Champvallon and Volgré, precisely on two localities, Cherche-Chaud and Montagne de Colmier. In Cherche-Chaud the vineyard produces complex and tannic red wines for laying down, with dominant blackcurrant aromas, while in Montagne de Colmier less tannic wines with raspberry or redcurrant aromas are obtained. But the Domaine also offers white burgundy pinot blanc, chardonnay, grey burgundy Côte Saint-Jacques as well as a very good ratafia.

For many years, the Auberge de la Vanne has been a favorite of the Sénonais community. Recently, owner Olivier Klein handed the business over to his daughter Audrey. Awarded the title of best sommelier for the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region by Gault & Millau in 2020, she now offers an extensive wine cellar. As for the room overlooking the Vanne river, it can now be used to enjoy a glass of wine with a board. Oenology courses are also available.

Over the last few years, Joigny's historic center has been enriched by the addition of a beautiful boutique that lives up to its name. Where coffee is king! Born into a family of winegrowers 150 years ago, Daniel Dampt created his Domaine alongside that of his father-in-law Jean Defaix. Today, his two sons, Vincent & Sébastien, take up the torch and help visitors discover their wines. The Domaine currently has 26 hectares of vines in production, with 15 hectares of Chablis and Petit Chablis, and 11 hectares of Chablis^1er Cru. The brothers vinify and sell only their own wines.

For 4 generations, Domaine Fourrey has cultivated 25 ha of vines and offers 4 Chablis appellations, as well as one in red Burgundy. Available: Chablis, Petit Chablis, Chablis premier cru (Côte de Lechet, Vaillons, Fourchaume and Mont de Milieu), a Chablis grand cru Vaudésir, and a Bourgogne Pinot Noir. The tasting cellar allows you to discover the company's fine production. A production that has often won awards, such as the Chablis 2020, 3 stars in the Guide Hachette, and the Petit Chablis 2022, gold medal winner at the Feminalise competition.

La Sereine is an oil mill established since 2005 in the heart of Burgundy in Annay-sur-Serein. A traditional workshop that produces exclusively rapeseed oil, made by a single cold pressing in order to preserve its rich taste and its many dietetic and nutritional qualities. The website explains the oil production process and also offers various recipes for cooking with rapeseed oil. This is an interesting detour to make, just to fill your cupboards with this 100% local oil.

The story began in 1923, when a handful of winegrowers set up a cooperative winery in the heart of the Chablis vineyards. Since then, La Chablisienne has grown to some 300 members, including 200 winegrowers and 5 prestigious vineyards, representing no less than 25% of the Chablis vineyards. In their cellar, located just a stone's throw from the basilica, you can expect to make many discoveries. Christine, Didier and Sylvestre Bonnemain have specialised in the production of raw honey since 1986. Thanks to the bees in their 700 hives, they harvest seven different varieties from the region's very diverse flora. Their flagship products: acacia, lime, chestnut and spring flower honeys in 250g, 500g and 1kg glass jars. They have won more than 20 medals since 1996. Pollen and gingerbread are also available for sale.

Right next to the market, Barbara Themereau and Jérémy Launay (originally from Corbigny) have taken up the challenge of taking over the premises of the former Tissier delicatessen. This Avallonnais institution will close in 2019 after a hundred years in business! Since then, "Le Louchebem Morvandiau" (named after the slang used by Parisian butchers in La Villette in the ^19th century) has proved its worth. Locals and tourists alike flock here to sample the black pudding (the house specialty!), Parthenais beef, and all the charcuterie that has always made Morvan's reputation!

In the Grande Rue, the roaster Morgane Peuziat roasts by hand the coffees she has carefully selected for their subtle flavours. You will also appreciate the delicacy of the Christine Dattner and "Tea Forté" teas, 100% organic, offered for tasting, but also for sale in bulk and in pyramids. To complete the offer, Morgane proposes chocolates and designer sweets as well as objects and utensils related to these drinks. With plenty of gift ideas to bring back. A nice place to sit down too, and enjoy the tea room.

Established in the heart of the Chablis vineyards since 2013, Céline and Frédéric Gueguen warmly welcome you to their family estate. Heirs to winemaking families, they passionately cultivate 36 hectares of vines planted mainly with Chardonnay to produce an authentic Chablis. You can taste their wines in their cellar or book a stay in one of their warm and comfortable gîtes in the middle of the vineyards. Attached to their Burgundian roots while bringing a breath of freedom, Céline and Frédéric are skillfully writing a new page in the history of wine.

Aline Doin is at the head of the Cellier de Charny. Her specialty? As an artisan roaster, she selects coffee beans from various origins and roasts them on the spot to the delight of her amateur customers. Of course, you will also find wines from local producers, or from other regions. An excellent address where you should not miss to stop if you are in Puisaye-Forterre!
