We had to dare… Florence Boyer-Rey, from Sarrazac, did so. She left the school at Sarlat's professional school to pick up her aunt's grocery store, which had exploited her for 40 years and then sold to two other people. The young woman only works with local producers: Laupilière farm for duck, Ferme farm for pork and veal, Le Délice de Lionel pour le boeuf, Florence Coste for chickens, Chaminade Vergers for fruit, Sisters Nicolas for organic vegetables, and every Thursday batch of fresh fish. Bread is provided by two Bakers bakers. Florence Boyer-Rey offers vegetable and/or meat season baskets on the weekend. She also manufactures her own jams with the region's fruits and complemented them with some decorating ideas. On Sunday morning, in July and August, a producer will have a free taste of the region's products.

In this delicatessen, at lunchtime, you can settle down to a dish of the day, or a nice salad. Dishes, salads and desserts combine tradition and reinvention, with vegetarian options. All ingredients are sourced from local producers. For the delicatessen, we have also chosen producers from different regions of France. You'll find preserves, teas, wines, spirits, local beers and spices. A catering service is also available on request, as is the possibility of privatizing the establishment.

Hélène welcomes you to her troglodytic delicatessen at the top of the village. She has selected, with taste and high standards, quality products from the region or the world. She offers a beautiful cellar of wines from the Côtes de Gascogne, the Lot or the Bergerac region, spirits and several craft beers. You can find foie gras, pâtés, confits and honey from the Périgord, but also great coffee beans, emblematic teas, olive oils from Provence and Greece, spices... You can travel and stock up on exceptional products

Lucette and Michel, the owners of this beautiful walnut grove with its hundred-year-old trees, open the doors of their farm from March to November. On the program: a visit to the certified organic orchard, which they've been tending for several decades, and to the meadow where the Limousin cows graze, ending up at the farm where all facets of the business are explained. The tour ends with a tasting of walnut products (available for sale). In summer, the farm hosts a gourmet market every Thursday, to showcase local produce.

The Carbonnière family raises goslings fed without animal meal or fat. Farmers for several generations and settled in Tursac since 1983, they are producers, breeders and feeders of geese. The animals are force-fed with non-transgenic corn, sown, harvested and dried on the farm. The preserves are made in the pure tradition: foie gras, confits, stuffed necks, etc. During the period of force-feeding, from September to June, you can attend the force-feeding from 8am to 10am and from 4pm to 6.30pm, do not hesitate to call before.

Preserving local produce is a true Lagrèze family tradition. Even today, Sylvie and Pascal keep the tradition alive. Whole duck foie gras, stuffed goose neck, quail with foie gras, pork anchaud rolled in its rind, duck confit, and Marie-Louise's famous dishes such as wild boar sausage with three beans, or coq au vin de Bergerac simmered with porcini mushrooms. Gourmet gift sets and baskets make great gift ideas. The Paddock 135 restaurant in Vézac serves products from the cannery.

At Daniel Teixeira, there is a pause for lunch on the thumb with a sandwich, salad, salted or sweet pies and even pasta. The price is reasonable, for example the formula with a salad, dessert and drink. It is also a cooking terminal for bread and pastries and pastries, the choice is great. On site or to take away, you can also enjoy a tea from Frères with little cakes and buy fine groceries. 

Guylaine and Jean-François, two lovers of the Périgord region, have taken over the producers' grocery store founded by Audrey and Muriel. They offer a fine selection of organic fruit and vegetables, cheeses, meats, snails, preserves, jams, beers and wine from 67 local suppliers located no more than 100 km from Terrasson. Guylaine and Jean-François offer passionate advice and show that local and gourmet can go hand in hand.

This very pretty shop is a delicatessen with a slightly old-fashioned charm, which sells mainly regional products, but also well-selected products from the four corners of France according to the artisanal know-how of the producers: chocolates, coffees, teas, mustards, honeys, oils, pâtés, wines, spirits, etc. Special mention for the home-made biscuits, cookies and shortbread in profusion. On the spot, you can enjoy a drink and taste new homemade pastries: tarts, chouquettes and other sweet delights.
