St. Gallen Church is one of the oldest religious foundations in Bordeaux. The texts mention, from the th century, the existence of a women's convent founded by Dagobert I. His son, Sigebert, would have deposited in the altar a relic of St. Eulalia, a young Spanish martyr of the third century. St. Gallen Church, thanks to numerous construction and restoration campaigns, has become a true open book on the history of Bordeaux art over the centuries: all ages and styles blend in, thus making its originality and richness. Its fence grids date back to the th century. It has a very nice stand and many paintings.

Gujan-Mestras produces every year 50 % of the oysters of the Basin. Located on the port of Larros, the Maison de l'huître was created by oyster farmers to make their profession known and to promote the Basin; an important breeding centre for oysters. The visit (1h) is divided into three stages: a film (English/Spanish/German) on the work of the oyster today, a guided tour of the different rooms (work of the oyster farmer, breeding techniques and history of the oyster through the centuries) and the discovery of the outdoor route (Port de Larros).

At the Army's Light Aviation Museum and Helicopter, 2 500 m ² of expo, dotted with more than 30 aircraft, is dedicated to the history of the army's light aviation and helicopter in particular. You will learn a lot about the history of the aeronautical adventure and the laws of gravity through which the helicopter holds its flight secrets. A place of history and a conservatory of science and technology… Exciting!

Overlooking the docks at the height of Saint-Michel district, this Door is part of the arch of triumphal doors, commissioned by Intendant Square to replace those of the Middle Ages. Gara, however, was not rebuilt in the place of another, also in 1758 it was a new opening in the rampart to facilitate transport between the quays and the Capuchin district. It holds its name from the Currency Workshop that was located very close.
