Classified as a historic monument, Château d'Amou comprises two buildings: the château, designed by Jules Hardouin Mansart, the Sun King's architect at Versailles, and the regional-style outbuildings. Unchanged over the centuries, its interior layout is a living testimony to the art of living of its time. Worth seeing: a Gallo-Roman mosaic from the 4th century. Honteux que les inscriptions pour visiter ce château soient complètes. 15 personnes x 3 heures un peu court pour un patrimoine inscrit aux monuments historiques. Les journées du patrimoine sont la pour faire connaître au plus grand nombre les monuments inaccessibles gratuitement ...qui ne le sont pas habituellement
