Cité Mondiale de Bordeaux, now a large business center dominated by a hotel with an annex with a panoramic terrace
Located halfway between the quays and the Chartrons market square, the Cité Mondiale is a building designed by architect, decorator and entrepreneur Michel Pétuaud-Letang, during the rehabilitation of the district. Initially built to house the Cité du Vin, the establishment eventually became a major business center, with nearly fifty companies located within its walls. A 4-star hotel dominates the complex, with its comfortable rooms and restaurant, an annex of which opens onto the panoramic terrace in summer.

The building is not necessarily beautiful because it is work in the heart of the typical houses of Bordeaux. However, the interior is class. The site is pleasant and the rooftop terrace offers a nice panoramic view. In short, the World City is mainly a business center which is not a must see - but the visitor with time can go there to have a look.
