This bakery is one of the excellent addresses in Auxerre. Many kinds of breads await you, but also pastries and cakes of great quality. We are particularly fond of the various tiramisùs served in glasses, and for the macaroons, the chocolates and other sweets. On the savory side, the choice is wide, but you can count on the classic sandwiches, croques, salads and other breads. As for the gougères, we warmly recommend them! You can even have lunch on the spot, in the small restaurant area.

It was here, in Charolles, that (the late) Bernard Dufoux founded his first chocolate factory, in 1960. Since then, the company has gone from strength to strength. In addition to its tempting boutique, the Charolles address is worth a detour for its production workshop, where chocolatiers and pastry chefs reveal the secrets of their trade to the public, and give classes. The chocolates they make are of the highest quality, using sometimes rare cocoa beans and exceptional hazelnuts and pistachios. Attractive subjects in original shapes are also produced for special events.

Open - Close to 19h30

It is only a few steps away from the famous Notre-Dame church owl that you will find this delicious bakery well known by the Dijon inhabitants. Very elegant, with a modern space, the bakery does not only offer bread but also many exclusive specialties. Here it is with the family that we work and it is with a certain pride that the Blanchard couple saw Charly obtain the diploma of best young baker of the department. The customers, young and old, are not mistaken and know that they can come and get their breakfast as well as their lunch or snack at 4pm. Colourful entrees that revisit the great classics, biscuits, cakes and cookies (a real delight!) attract the gourmands. The creations follow the seasons, with for example numerous savoury shortbreads for the aperitif: truffles, epoisses or even mustard from Fallot. During the festive season, the Logs compete with inventiveness to enchant the desserts of refined dinners. Ideas are numerous and so are novelties, note the arrival of spelt bread and Edelweiss, an adorable cake with almonds, vanilla cream and chopped nougatine. A temple of gluttony!

We've fallen in love with this pretty downtown bonbonnière, with its solid reputation. You look at the window with the eyes of a child at all the delicacies on display and the poetic staging. And as soon as you step through the door, the magic happens. Caramels, candies, chocolates, almonds, macaroons, calissons, teas, honey and other delicacies, including the famous mâconnaise wafer, are available to taste on the spot or to take away. The smell of sugar and the sight of bonbonnières filled with pretty colors are a temptation to crime that's hard to resist.

A small queue at rush hour: the success of this bakery is not only due to its beautiful location but also to the continuous flow of fresh bread. Faithful to the entire chain of the same name, the Dijon bakery produces quality bread whose flours are mostly organic. The breads with a crispy crust are reminiscent of the breads of bakeries of yesteryear with the sweet scent of fresh sourdough. Beaujolais bread, bread made with chestnut, rye, honey and hazelnut flour, spelt crown... Whether traditional or special, the baker who makes them prefers wholemeal flours and sourdough dough; he likes to praise the quality of his suppliers and the care taken in baking. Moreover, the formulas proposed at lunchtime are convincing: burgers and other varied sandwiches or generous quiches are added to a pastry for copious lunch breaks. A beautiful address for beautifully made products.

Bon Jour Bon pain is a quality bakery where it is easy to make a stop to refuel. Located on Avenue du Drapeau, access is nevertheless very easy thanks to a large car park located just in front of the shop. Thierry Sallin and his partner are passionate people who are committed to offering the best to their customers. To satisfy your sweet tooth and your requirements, they have even created a unique baguette in Dijon: the Petrisane. Its dough ferments for nearly 12 hours and the manufacturing secret is well kept.... The result is delicious! As a bonus, the baguette is crispy and keeps well! Sandwiches, gougères, special breads, pastries, pastries: everything is strictly homemade and made with local flour! Special mention for the snack side which offers delicious sandwiches for lunch break like the one with béchamel mustard sauce, what an originality! Quiches, too, have their followers. For dessert, puddings, brownies and especially plain custards, with fruit, pistachio, coffee, caramel or speculoos are excellent. It is possible to taste them on site because the bakery also has a tea room... We recommend the delicious homemade shortbread (Gerbe d'or recipe) to be discovered as soon as possible, whether they are with speculoos, salted butter caramel, raspberry or Tagada strawberry. A warm and above all a qualitative place to visit as soon as possible!

The good bread of this bakery is part of everyday life and its success goes far beyond the Montchapet quarter! Furthermore, the reception is charming. Prepared with the best raw materials, campaillette baguettes, campaillou breads and seed céraine, you will not allow time to go home to taste them, the temptation will be too strong. Classic, the pastry is mostly very desirable: fig, abundance and company… without forgetting Mozart, the specialty of the house: a black chocolate foam and a burnt cream with orange. There has also been a series of meringues who only sought to be eaten. The Little Mozart gives in the salty version with some pies, including the one to the Noix nuts and the famous Dijonnaise (county, tomato, mustard). With regard to pastry, we are pleased to report after having gôuté two delicious specialities: The Cappucino, creamy vanilla coffee version, hum, too good and the Dijonnaise in the field of bavrois that makes it wonderful with the association praline pistachio and Bavarian cassis! A real treat! No change in bakery, bread is always excellent! A good address.

L'Atelier du Mylor is a pastry, confectionery and chocolate factory, in other words the temple of the avallonnais gourmands! Apart from the usual products, there are many creations such as chocolate, tonka and banana tartlets. A treat. But L'Atelier du Mylor is also two historical specialities: the thistle (a dark or milk praline ganache chocolate candy) which has been making people salivate since 1930, and the Mylor born in 1956, a small white or pink candy that we let you discover by yourself! We love the originality and history of this gourmet workshop.

This family business, which began with Colette and Guy in 1973, has become a must. Pastry chef, chocolatier and ice-cream maker, Alexandre keeps the house's great classics alive while adding a touch of modernity: desserts and chocolate bites, ice-cream, individual cakes... The specialities here are a great credit to the region and more specifically to Dijon, such as the Demoiselles de Bourgogne - chocolate bites in honour of Madame de Sévigné -, snails or Burgundy tiles reminiscent of glazed tiles.

Here, we succumb to the freshness and finesse of the chocolate creations; we love the house specialities such as the "Rochers de Sens" (small caramelized almonds in chocolate), and the "Brennus". A tribute to the famous Gallic people of the Senons who took Rome in 329 B.C., but above all a fantastic hazelnut praline puff pastry. Breads and pastries are at the top too, as are the various pastries. There is no doubt about it, the quality is there, and has been for many years already. Because the Gaufillier Bakery is an institution in Sens.

The Ten Carnot imposes with its beautiful facade. Its location is worth gold, situated between L'Athéneum and Le Gourmandin, facing Carnot square, it exhibits its beautiful and large terrace in the summer. The interior is large, with design furniture for the tea lounge corner, and this imposing space is the image of home specialities. Confectionery Rayon: calissons nature and cassis, vanilla caramel and chocolates, coffee, chocolates… Épicerie épicerie des liqueurs du fabulous Wolfberger with chocolate or purple, homemade creams to peach, honey of Morvan. We will not be able to quote all the specialties of the shop, which we will be looking in a simple glance! The most delicious ones in our eyes are those composed of fresh fruits, cherries, raspberries, peaches, apricots… Finally, the house has also made itself a speciality of bakeries, the croissants of butter or almonds, chocolatines, snails and other loaves of grapes are quite simply seductive, not to mention bread, which we recommend to the nuts and red wine and the Round to honey, hazelnuts and so on. grapes, and how not to speak of the macaroons, to taste on site or to take to enjoy their melting flavours!

BOULANGERIE ÉRIC FEBVRE

Bakery

Open - Close to 19h00

Behind Place des Halles, next to the Porcheret cheese dairy (it will be easy to do double duty), the Éric Fèbvre bakery proudly displays the family tradition of the grandfather and great-grandfather. The chef first worked as a pastry chef in gourmet restaurants before returning to the simple taste of bread. Bread, yes, but "real bread", as he calls it: made by hand, without yeast, with this slow fermentation that gives it that little nutty flavour. Married with fig or chestnut, this honeycomb crumb is delicious. As you will have understood, we obviously trust the chef when it comes to pastry.... We let you discover!

At the top of the decoration trend, the shop adorned with brown and turquoise makes you want to stop by to see what's hidden in this beautiful setting. Inside, no surprise, Belgian chocolates, true to their reputation, are tasty: pralines, ganaches, mousses, orangettes, cherries, liqueur chocolates, fruit pastes, artisanal dragées or even chocolate squares to accompany coffee. The recipes are creative and you can buy 250 g, 500 g or even one kilo boxes for the most gourmands. With the approach of holidays, such as Easter or Mother's Day, the shop offers new creations and adapts to a demanding demand for quality. Good point: the boxes and gift packages are very neat. Beautiful and good, they are perfect for the taste buds, less for the line. While continuing to stroll around the shopping centre, treat yourself to a chocolate to enjoy, or an Italian-style ice cream: chocolate and pistachio in winter, raspberry sorbets and passion in summer. This year we noticed the cone with its recipe of praline gianduja with hazelnuts and almonds, there are two new recipes, one with an intense taste is the cone with dark chocolate and one with a crispy gianduja... We're losing it!

LE FOURNIL DE CLAUDE

Bakery

Its ideal location and its very large hourly beaches make it a convenient point of supply. If you don't have bread or a child who asks you for a bakery, you can be sure to find here what can save you. It is certainly not of high quality, but sometimes it can do the same thing as we say. Bread is cast and without great flavour, hearty pastries, perhaps even too much… One can welcome the low prices and the sympathy of the staff who serve the customers with a smile always present.
